Mrs. Thelma Lee Harned, age 86, of Clarkson, died Friday, October 19, 2001 at 
North Hardin Health and Rehabilitation in Radcliff,Ky.  Ms. Harned was born 
June 8, 1915 in Custer to Ginger and Bodie Johnson Bandy.  She was retired from 
bacon's Department Store in Shively and was a Methodist and a member of the 
Eastern Star. 
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell L. Harned, a brother, Wayne 
Bandy, and two nephews, Eugene and David Bandy.  She is survived by five 
nieces, a nephew and a cousin. 
The funeral was held at 2pm. on Sunday, October 21, 2001 at the Trent-Dowell 
Funeral Home in Hardinsburg with Rev. Charles Kiser officiating.  Burial was in 
the Custer Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul Elementary 
School in Leitchfield, Ky.
