George T. "Sonny" Harris, 66, of North Fourth Street, died Friday at 
Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

Born Aug. 5, 1936, in Boyle County, he was the son of the late George 
T. Sr. and Elizabeth Egger Harris. He was a retired home builder and 
was an army veteran. He was also a member of Junction City Methodist 
Church.

Survivors include a son, George T. "Joey" Harris of Danville; three 
sisters, Elfrieda "Botchie" Weaver and Rose Matherly of Junction City 
and Joyce Ann Upton of Waynesburg; and one grand-daughter. He was 
preceded in death by his wife, Billie Elaine Anderson Harris.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Jimmy Owens. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Dick and Stevie Weaver, Clyde and Jeff Matherly, 
Harold Upton, Sr. and Buddy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers will be 
Quince Arnold, Dr. David Overstreet, Windell King, George York and 
Robert Overstreet.

Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home.

Jackson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
