Submitted by Debbie Dicken Dohoney Harrison, 74, a retired farmer of North Columbia Avenue in Campbellsville, son of the late Henry Harrison and Dollie Dohoney Harrison, was born in Adair County, May 14, 1918. He died at 9:14 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992, in Bowling Green after an illness. He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country in the United States Army. He was married to Lena Dicken on Sept. 22, 1949. She preceded him in death April 15, 1989. Harrison is survived by one son and one daughter, Burr Harrison, Campbellsville, and Betty Grissom, Scottsville; two step-grandchildren, Kevin Grissom and Debbie Donovan, both of Scottsville; two step-great-grandchildren, Shannon Donovan and Brittany Donovan, both of Scottsville; one brother and one sister, Charles Woodrow Harrison and Lucille Ryder, both of Campbellsville; several other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Woodruff Harrison. The funeral was at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15 at the Parrott! & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville. The Rev. Larry Koch and the Rev. Hermon Wilkins officiated. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Daniel Harrison, Michael Harrison, Kevin Grissom, Paul J. Dicken, Kenneth Sexton, and Frank Owen Brockman.
