Marriage Bond of Moses Springston & Anne Hatfield, 21 Jan 1804, Ohio Co., KY

  Know all men by these presents that we Moses Springston
and Abraham Springston are held and firmly bound unto
James Garrard Esquire Governor of Kentucky & his Successors
in the penal Sum of fifty pounds to which payment to
be made to our said Governor or his Successors we bind our-
selves our heirs Executors & administrators Jointly &
Severally firmly by their presents sealed with our seal
& dated this 21 day of January 1804.
       The Condition of the above obligation is such that
whereas there is A purpose of Marriage between the a 
bove bound Moses Springston and Anne Hatfield
if therefore there be no Legal Cause to obstruct said
Marriage then the above obligation to be void Else
to remain in full force & virtue.
