SAM HATFIELD

Sam Hatfield, 90, died Monday morning at his home.

Surviving are five daughters, Mary Lila Welker, Catherine Dyer and
Etta Greenwell, all of Morganfield, Betty Scardo of Olean, NY., and Joan
Miller of Louisville; a son, Tom of Greenup; a sister, Dorothy Garman of
Morganfield; 15 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2pm today at Whitsell Funeral Home, with burial
in Odd Fellows Cemetery.


MEMORIAL SERVICES BETTY LOU ROSE

Memorial Services will be held for Betty Lou Rose, who passed away
September 7, 1997. All family and friends are welcome to gather at the
Sturgis Community Building on Monroe Street Saturday to pay their last
respects. Brother Jerry Seay will officiate.

Final internment, by the immediate family, will be held at Pythian
Ridge Cemetery.
