DELBERT HELTON

Delbert Helton, 60, of Tackett Town, died on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at his 
home. He was born in Redbird on January 24, 1944 the son of Elizabeth Saylor 
Helton and the late Jonas Helton. He was a Pentecostal and had been a Foreman 
for Bledsoe Coal Company and a Coal truck driver. 
He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Gertrude Helton and brother, 
James Helton. 
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Shirley Belcher Helton, daughter, 
Dolly North, son and daughter-in-law, Elbert and Darlene Helton, 
grandchildren, Krystal and Anthony Mink, Brandon, Katelyn and Tiffany Helton, 
great-grandson, Bradley Mink, sister, Brenda Helton, brothers, Denver Helton, 
Dennis Helton, Carl Helton and Bobby Helton, half brother, Dewey Caldwell and 
a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 
Services were Saturday at the Laurel Branch Pentecostal Church with Rev. Demus 
Couch, Rev. Freddy Johnson, Rev. Kenneth Saylor and Rev. Herstel Belcher. 
Music was by Family and Friends. Burial was in the Helton Cemetery at Stoney 
Fork. Pallbearers were Family and Friends.
