Know all men by these Presence that we Thomas Lee and Noah Lee are held and
firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the just and full sum of
fifth Pounds to which payment will and truly to be made we bind ourselves
our heirs [and family?] by these presence sealed with our seales and dated
this 17th day of Octr 1822.  The conditions of the above obligation is such
that whereas there is a marriage shortly intended to be had and solemnized
between the above bound Thomas Lee and Gabriella Herndon both of the County
of Madison if there be no lawful cause to obstruct the same this obligation
be void else to remain in full force and virtue. Signed sealed
