Mary Louise Hicks, 79, Vine Grove, died Feb. 10, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hicks; two sons, Bobby Hicks and Mickey Hicks; and a granddaughter, Candace Hicks.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Marcella (Richard) DeRuiter, Radcliff, and Brenda (Blake) Thompson, Pikeville; and son and daughter-in-law, Larry (Helen) Hicks, Vine Grove; two daughters-in-law, Charlotte A. Hicks, Vine Grove, and Connie Hicks, Radcliff; a sister, Leona Ammons, Big Spring; a brother, George Ammons, Portland, Ore.; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Feb. 13 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Nelson- Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home, Vine Grove, with Rev. Joseph Vetter officiating. 
Burial will be in the Big Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Feb. 12, 5-8 p.m., and after noon Feb. 13.
