MYRTLE CLAIR DEMOSS HILL
     Myrtle Clair DeMoss Hill, 62, of Madisonville, KY., died at 9:03pm, 
Friday, Feb. 28, 1997, in Regional Medical Center.
     Born Feb. 7, 1935, in Vandetta., KY, she was the daughter of Jesse 
S. DeMoss and Flora C. Tapp DeMoss.
     She was a homemaker and a member of Concord General Baptist Church.
     She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Hill Sr., of 
Madisonville; one daughter, Chele McCormick of Madisonville; one son, 
Kenneth Ray Hill Jr., of Madisonville; one sister, Elizabeth Ruth DeMoss 
of Madisonville; four brothers, Hugh DeMoss of Dixon, Ky., Jesse W. 
DeMoss of Evansville, Ind., Charles W. DeMoss of Albuquerque, NM., and 
Marvin A. DeMoss of Charlestown, Ind; and three grandchildren.
      Services will be at 11am Monday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home 
with Bro. Eddie Fleming officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery 
in Manitou, KY.
      Visitation will be from 5 to 8pm today and after 9am Monday at the 
funeral home.

(Personal note-- in correspondence with her these past few years, she 
ALWAYS spelled her middle name as Clara )
