              Mrs. Sally Hart Hobgood, 74, Dies

        Mrs. Sally Hart Hobgood, 74, Nebo, died in a Hopkinsville hospital
at 9 a.m. today.
        Mrs. Hobgood was born in Hopkins county Dec. 7, 1882, and was a
member of the Nebo Christian church. Her husband, Bert Hobgood, died in 
1923.
        Surviving are three sons , Marlin Hobgood and Walter Hobgood, both
of Nebo, and Rayburn Hobgood, Morganfield, five grandchildren, two sisters, 
Mrs. Sam Crow, Nebo, and Mrs. J. B. Waltrip, of South Carolina, and a brother, Garland
Hart, Nebo Route 1.
        Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday in the Nebo
Christian Church, with the Rev. Clay Hobgood officiating. Burial will be in
the Union cemetery.
        The body was taken from Harris Funeral Home to the home of Marlin
Hobgood at Nebo to await the last rites.
