Lois Hopkins, 78, Irvington, died Oct. 25, 2008, at her residence.

She was retired from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service at Fort Knox with over 30 years of service.

Ms. Hopkins is survived by two sons, Phillip Kennedy and James Kennedy, both of Irvington; four grandchildren, Ronnie, Melissa and Stephanie Baysinger and Brian Kennedy; and two great-grandchildren, Ethan Baysinger and Dallas Kennedy.

Funeral services were held Oct. 27 from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home. 
Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Baysinger, Missy Baysinger, Donavon Hill, Jim Laha, Jerry Hill and Scott Lyons.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
