Mrs. Llewelyn Hiestand Hord, 94, widow of G. W. Hord, died Monday at her home 
after a short illness.  She was a member of one of Taylor County's oldest 
families and a teacher for many years. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. 
Aubrey Peterson, Mrs. R. S. Bailey, and Mrs. David Mitchell, all of 
Campbellsville; Mrs. Muriel Lippincott, Louisville, and Mrs. Charles Steger, 
Sharon, Pa., and a son, retired Rear Admiral Paul Hord, San Diego, Cal.; nine 
grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be at Lyon 
Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
