Dan Gutenson. Burial will be at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. He died Thursday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. Born Oct. 4, 1923, in Garrard County, he was the son of the late George and Stella Wilson Hoskins. He was a farmer, a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and a World War II Navy veteran. Survivors include his wife, Edith Bowling Hoskins of Stanford; three sons, Jerry Hoskins of Columbus, Ohio, Keith Hoskins of Richmond, and John Hoskins of Stanford; two daughters, Karen Hoskins Smith of Louisville and Debbie Kuhn of Danville; one brother, Homer Hoskins of Stanford; and one sister, Lois Jean Gordon of Danville; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bryan Smith, Jason, Kevin and Matthew Hoskins, and Jeremy, Brandon and Josh Renner. Honorary pallbearers will be Lisa Hoskins Garber, Tonya Smith, Ashley Hoskins Abshire, Michelle Smith, Leslie Hoskins Staton, and Kimberly and Kristina Hoskins. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. Memorials may go to Hebron Methodist Church. ______________________________
