FREDDIE EUGENE HOWARD
    Freddie Eugene Howard, 72, Uniontown, died at 2:27pm Wednesday at his 
home.
    He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Uniontown where he was a post 
master and was a Baptist. He was a member of the Rizpah Temple Shrine of 
Madisonville where was an Ambassador of Union County. He was also a 
Kentucky Colonel, a Lifetime VFW member and a  member of the Morganfield 
Odd Fellows where he served as a chaplain.
    Survivors include his wife Margaret; three sons, Fred Howard Jr and 
Gary Howard, both of Uniontown, and Charles Lindsey of Clarksville, IN;
one sister Millie Jefford of Sturgis; two brothers, Bobby M. Howard of 
Cedar Lake, IN., and Vick Howard of California; five grandchildren; five 
great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
    Services were at 2pm Friday at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield.
Burial was in City Cemetery in Uniontown.
