Married: Opal Mae Branstetter Howard, who survives, 1 June 1935 in Columbia, KY Retired farmer and a 
Founder, Sunday School Superintendent and Deacon of Rock Bridge Baptist Church.
Other survivors include:
Sons: Jack Benny Howard and wife Carolyn of Boston, MA and Hughston Keith Howard and wife Karen of 
Cookeville, TN
Daughters: Bess Ann Howard Abney and husband Roy; Myra Bine Howard Bushong, all of Lexington, KY
Sister: Mayme Wright of Summer Shade, KY
Grandchildren: Anne Michele Bushong, Angela Marie Howard, Brian Keith Howard, Eric Jackson Howard, 
Courtenay Bine Howard and Jonathon David Howard
Great-grandchildren: Jared Matthew Bushong and Talia Loreli Howard.
Preceded also in death by brothers: Hade, Wallace and Collis Howard.
Services: 1 pm Thursday, 18 May 2000, Yokley Funeral Home, burial Skaggs Creek Cemetery.
