HOOVER HOWARD
 
    Hoover Howard, age 73 of Pineville, KY., passed away Monday October 21, 
2002 at the Pineville Community Hospital.  He was born February 18, 1929, in 
Bell Co., KY, the son of the late Pearl Howard and Mary Taylor Howard.  He 
believed in the Pentecostal faith.  He was preceded in death by parents, 3 
sisters and 8 brothers.
    Survivors include:  Wife, Tommie Ann Howard, Pineville, KY., one daughter, 
Nancy Ann Howard, Pineville, KY.; four sons, Hoover Howard, Jr., Bruce and 
Judy Howard, William and Tammy Howard, and Chris and Cheryl Howard, all of 
Pineville, KY.  Ten grandchildren, Joshua Howard, Samatha Howard, Lesllie 
Howard, Shane Howard, Shawn Howard, Austin Howard, Dylan Howard, Logan Howard, 
Douglas Edmondson, Chancelore Edmondson, and a host of other relatives and 
friends.
    Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 24 at the Creech-Durnham 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Melvin Beverly, Rev. Philip Jackson, and Rev. Bill 
Engle, Jr. presiding.  Interment was in the Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens with 
Pallbearers Hoover Jr., Chris, Bruce and William Howard.  Honorary pallbearers 
were grandchildren and Dr. Steven K. Morgan.
