MARTY W. HOWARD
 
    Marty Wayne Howard, 44, Pineville, passed away January 16, 2003 at his 
home.
    A native of Pineville, Howard was born November 20, 1958.
    He was preceded in death by his father, John B. Howard; his grandfather, 
George Taylor; brother Jimmy Lynn Howard; a sister, Nancy Carol Howard; a 
granddaughter; a nephew, William Leslie Cox; and an aunt, Lucille.
    Survivors include his mother, Georgia Lucine Howard, Pineville; a son, 
Jason Lambdin, Corbin; a daughter, Tiffany Gambrel, Pineville; brothers and 
sisters-in-law: Larry Leslie and Lea Howard, Florida; Lephard and Joey Howard, 
Pineville; Timothy Howard, Middlesboro; sisters and brothers-in-law; Trudy and 
Bill Smith, Pineville; Donna Smith, Tazwell, Tenn.; Gharlotte and Tim Groves, 
Paris; Teresa Laws, Pineville; a grandson; a special friend, Steve Washam; a 
host of nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Creech-Durnham Funeral Home with 
the Rev. Gordan Hayworth, the Rev. Tim Mills and Joe Smith officiating.
    Music was provided by Jim Smith and George Smith.
    Burial followed in the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens.
    Pallbearers were Paul Steven Allen, Darrell York, Tim Wayne Brock, Joey 
Philpot, David Hensley, Tim Graver, Donnie Wilson, Lee Bo Slone and Art Jimmy 
Miles.
    Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Laws, Billy Joe laws, David Howard, Steven 
Howard and David Short.
    Creech-Durnham Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
