HARRODSBURG -- Robert L. Howell, 88, of Curdsville Road died Saturday at
James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born July 14, 1914, in Earlington, he was the son of the late Sawyer and
Ruby Hewlett Howell. He was a systems supervisor for Kentucky Utilities Co.
He was a member of Harrodsburg Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World
War II.
Survivors include his wife, Clara Locke Howell; two sons, Robert "Bob"
Howell of Nicholasville and William "Bill" Howell of Louisville; and two
grandchildren.
Services were Monday by the Rev. Robert DeFoor at Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Chris Coffman, Charles Aldridge, J.B. Sparrow, Curtis
Bailey, Kenneth Kirkland, Wendell Gooch and Ron Leach.
Memorials may go to Harrodsburg Baptist Church.
