Will Bk C, Pp 102, 103 Written: November 5, 1847 Recorded: January 3, 1848 Transcription: Will HOWSER; SEAVEY; CLARKE; LANCASTER Jacob HOWSER Will Know all men by these presents that I Jacob HOWSER do now make my Last Will and Testament whereas I let my sons Brockston and Bradford HOWSER have two hundred and thirty six dollars to pay for this place and forty dollars for the rent of the place I lived on befor I moved here and three dollars and seventy five cents for oats and the boys agree to pay interest on the two hundred and thirty six dollars or ____ and also the are to pay to their mother when she cauls on them for it and my wife is to have all the ____ property her life time and Brockston and Bradford is to have what she leaves when she dies. Nancy and Polly and Soloman and John and Elijah all has had their part and Salleys son Richard HOWSER is to have a share with my two ___ boys John HOWSER 75 dollars for a horse and two hundred for another horse making two hundred and seventy five dollars this the 5th day of November 1847 Teste Jacob HOWSER Elijah SEAVEY William H. CLARKE At a County Court held for Spencer County on Monday the 6th day of December 1847 This writing purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of Jacob HOWSER deceased was proved according to Law by the oaths of Elijah SEAVEY and William H. CLARKE witnesses thereto and is ordered to be recorded.
