From: KyArchives Sent: Friday, March 14, 2014 10:06 PM To: Ky-Footsteps Subject: Hubbard.Et.Al-Palmer.Nancy.1829.Garrard.DEED Et al Hubbard - Nancy Palmer May 1, 1829 Garrard County KyArchives Deed Written: May 1, 1829 Recorded: June 15, 1829 Garrard County, Kentucky Deed Book K, page 123-124 This Indenture made and entered into this 1th [sic] day of May 1829 Between Nancy Palmer of the one part and the heirs and representatives of John Hubbard dec'd of the other part Witnesseth that the said Nancy Palmer for and in consideration of the sum of Two Hundred dollars paid to John Palmer my late Husband and myself in the life time of my husband we sold to the said John Hubbard dec'd and my dec'd Husband Executed to sd. Hubbard a bond for the conveyance of the same and now I Nancy Palmer for and in consideration of land sale and in part satisfaction of said bond do hereby bargain, sell alien and confirm unto the heirs of John Hubbard dec'd a certain tract of Land in the County of Garrard and on the waters of Pt. Lick Creek and bounded as follows (to wit) Beginning at an ash and Beach Thence N39°E 150 poles to a Stake on Finnell's line thence S55°E 6 poles to a stake thence S60W 3 poles to a poplar and Hickory thence S56E 100 poles to a stake in an old field thence S70W 104 poles to a White Walnutt a corner to Schooler thence S79W 90 poles to the beginning containing by survay Fifty five acres and a half to the heirs of sd. John Hubbard dec'd with [all] and singularly the appertenances thereunto apportaining or in anywise belonging to their own proper use and behoof it being the lot of land which was assigned as my share of the landed Estate of my Father William Finnel dec'd. I do hereby warrant and defend the title of the afsd. tract of land the heirs of John Hubbard forever against the claim of all and every person or persons whatever as witness my hand and seal this day and year above written.
