NOTE: I have no connection, no further information and am not seeking
additional information.

"Mr. Samuel Huffman died at his home at Summer Shade on last Saturday
evening, after a long and painful illness of consumption. Mr. Huffman was a
devout and earnest christian, a successful school teachere and one of the
most promising young men of Metcalfe county. He was uinversally beloved by
all thatknew him, and the news of this death will
be received with feelings of sadness. He was soon to have been married to
one of Metcalfe's most worthy and prominent young ladies. The fuenral took
place at the home on last Sunday afternoon in the presence of a large
company of sorrow stricken friends and relatives."
