                   BESSIE BISHOP HUNT (1986)
     Bessie Bishop Hunt, 93, of Raccoon, died at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, 
November 4, 1986,  at home. She was born in Pike County, February 27, 1893,
a daughter of the late William and Emma Slone Bishop.
     She was a homemaker and a member of he Church of Christ at Zebulon. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Hunt, who died October 
28, 1959, and by one daughter, Mrs. Clara Keene, who died in 1986.
     She is survived by two sons, Kermit Hunt and Dock Hunt, both of
Pikeville; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Lewis Goff of Raccoon, one 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Hazel Meade of Feds Creek; 14 grandchildren and 11 great 
grandchildren.
