Hunt, March, 1925 I, Jim Hunt, of Edmonson County, Kentucky being of sound mind and memory do now make and declare this to be my last will and testament to wit – hereby revoking all former wills hereto fore made by me. First, that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid. Second, I will to my nephews and nieces as follows: To Dan Lee I will my home property and all the household furniture and bedding and bed clothes and kitchen utensils, etc. The home property consisting of 25 acres of land is willed on the condition that he shall not sell or dispose of same under 10 years unless the Government should take it over including same in a national park or reserve and in that event he should be entitled to what ever it may bring. Also to Dan Lee I will the sum of six hundred $600.00 To Charlie Hunt, I will the sum of Fifteen hundred (1500.00) dollars To Morris Hunt, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Schuyler Hunt, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Rubin Hunt, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To John Hunt, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Rye Hunt, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Thomas Hunt,I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Nell Sell, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Mary Morrison, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Elvie (Alvie) Logsdon, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars To Lizzie Holton, I will the sum of two hundred fifty (250.00) dollars It is my will that the sum of $1,000.00 be deposited in the bank as a trust fund by my said executors the interest from which shall be used to beautify and properly care for the graves of my self and immediate family in the Mammoth Cave Cemetery also a portion to be used on the graves of my father and my three infant children buried on the old home place where Jim Holton now lives about three miles from Mammoth Cave. The rest, residue and remainder of my personal property is to be divided in the same proportion as above devised except as to the trust fund of ($1,000.00) for graves upkeep purposes which shall remain as it now is. If at my death there should not be sufficient money on hand to make the bequests as above made by me then the amount of each shall be reduced in same proportions as each bequest now bears to the sum total distributed. It is my will that in the event any legatee under this will should find fault or give trouble as to the portion he or she receives hereunder then it is my will that one or more than one as the case may be shall receive only the sum of one hundred ($100.00) dollars each. And in that event the remaining portion of said legatee or legatees shall be divided to the others mentioned herein in the same proportion as they are now receiving. It is my will that Charlie Hunt and Dan Lee shall qualify as executors of this my last will and testament and that the court do not require of them a bond.
