Henry Irving, 60, owner of the firm Irving & Herb, plumbing and heating contractors, died tuesday morning at his home, Rural Route One, Middletown, Butler Co., Ohio. In failing health the past year, Irving's condition had become serious in recent weeks and his death at 10 AM Tuesday was not a surprise to his business associates and family. It was only recently that he had been off duty in submission to his lack of strength. Mr. Irving had been an ambitious businessman of this city for the past 20 years, taking a partner, J. Alfred Herb in his plumbing firm which started in a small way but was rapidly builtup by the principles of efficiency and personality which he instilled. Acceptance of his bids on some of the larger contracts in the city attested the popularity of the firm. Coming here from Lexington, Kentucky Mr. Irving had long held a wide acquaintance in Middletown. He was a Member of The Eagles Lodge and active in it's interests. Survivors are the Widow, Mrs. Mayme Rogers Irving, and one son William. Arrangements for the funeral are incomplete. Submitted by: Harold Irving Additional Comments: Burial was in Springrove Cemetery, Cincinnati, Ohio in the Rogers Family Plot. Henry was son of Thomas Irving and Letitia Long Irving of Lexington. Mrs Irving was daughter of James Colmore Rogers, of Nelson Co., KY., and Ellen T. Bush of Winchester, Clark Co., KY. This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/kyfiles/
