McClure. Mrs. Letitia Long Irving, 76 years old, widow of Thomas Irving, a former well known resident of Lexington, died last midnight at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.L. McClure, 212 North Upper Street. Death was due to paralysis. About 4 years ago Mrs. Irving suffered a stroke and practically ever since has been an invalid. Until she was paralyzed she was a very active woman for one of her advanced age and took a lively interest in home affairs and the education of her several grandchildren. Mrs. Irving was born in Indiana but came to Kentucky when an infant and all of her long and useful life was spent in this city. She is survived by two children-Mrs. Robert L. McClure, of Lexington, and Henry Irving, of Cincinnati. Her only other relative is a maiden aunt, Miss Mollie Long, now in her eighty-sixth year, who also resides at the McClure home. Funeral services will be held at the family residence, 212 N. Upper Street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 O'Clock, and the internment will follow in the Long Family Plot in the Lexington Cemetery.
