Marriage Bond, Jackson County Court House Marriages,  April 21, 2005 Marriage Bond. THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY Be it Known that we, Wm. Riley Lakes as principal, and_____________________as 
surety, are jointly and severally bound to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in 
the sum of One Hundred Dollars.
The Condition of this Bond is as follows:
That, whereas Marriage is intended to be solemnized between the above bound 
and Rachel Issacs
Now, if there is no lawful cause to abstruct said marriage, this bond shall be 
void, otherwise it shall remain in full force adn effect. 
Dated at____________ County, this day of 15th January 1868 signed Wm. Riley Lakes

I could not read the clerks first name and it looked like Jackson was signed 
under it. Out from that was typed County Court.
