Mrs. Hazel Hensley Isaacs, a life long Pineville resident, passed away on 
Tuesday, April 6, at the Pineville Community Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Isaacs was born on January 25, 1955, and was the daughter of Jim and 
Josephine Smith Hensley, both of whom survive.

Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hensley; maternal grandmother, 
Mrs. Alma Jackson of Cincinnati, OH; three daughters, Tina Rena Isaacs, Angela 
Michell Isaacs, and Tabitha Lynn Isaacs, all of Pineville; one son, Robert 
Isaacs of Pineville; four sisters, Louise Wyrick of Chicago, IL., Brenda 
Bailey of Pineville, Christine Washam of Detroit, MI, and Violet Hensley of 
Pineville; and one brother, Robert Hensley of Pineville. 


Funeral services were Friday, April 9 at 2 p.m. at the Pine Street Church of 
God at Pineville with the Rev. George Neal and the Rev. Archie Gaylor 
officiating. Burial was in the Carey Cemetery with Paul Smith, Payton Bailey, 
Wayne Baker, Tim Wayne Brock, Farmer Lawson, and Alonzo Gamble serving as 
pallbearers. 

Arnett Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
