Ashland Daily Independent, Wed., Feb. 25, 1987
Kimble Ison, 75, of 832 Pond Run Road, Raceland, died Tuesday in Our Lady of 
Bellefonte Hospital following a sudden illness.  Mr. Ison was born Feb. 2, 
1912, in Elliott County, a son of the late William and Nannie Griffith Ison.  
His wife, Ruby Jordan Ison, died in 1986.
  Surviving are a son, David Ison of Minot, N.D.; a stepson, Paul Jordan of 
Angola, Ind.; a brother, Linvle Ison of Hanes City, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. 
Opal Newsome of Catlettsburg, Mrs. Reba Lewis of Mason, Ohio, and Mrs. Mildred 
Duvall of Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and two grandchildren.
  Arrangements are incomplete at the Caniff Funeral Home in West Wood.
