Make and astoblish this my last will and testament as follows. 1st I will my soul to God who gave it and that my body be decently burried. 2nd I will that all my depts and expenses that may accrue be paid. 3rd I will and bequeath to my wife Sarah Jackson all my property real and personal to have and hold ith sauue with full power and control of sauue for her ohn here fit as long as she may live. Bud if my personal property at my death is at eny time not sufficent to comfortably support my said wife. Then my executors herein after named are here by authorized and enpowered to sell enough of my real estate from time to time in any way the may see fit to provide for her comfort and support during life. And 4th It is my will and desire that at the death of my beloved wife my property there remaining shall be divided as follows. 1st I will to my son George Jackson the four or five hundred dollars I have already paid to and exspended for him and also an, equal diviton of my estate. When said divtion is made, hit his part of said divition is made, hid hit part of said devition or estate is to be left and kept in my executors havd for save keeping will full power and control as gardian for my son George Jackson and use the same for his bennifit is the in there justmend see him in need of it and if not all expended for him after his death wath is left shall be equely divided among the rest of the lawful heires. 2nd I will to the heires of my doughter Phoete Jans Veazey the tract of land I have all reddy conveyed and deeded to Jeff Veazey and and her and valued now by me at one thousand dollars which shall be there part in full and I also exclude them from any further interest in my estate. 3rd I will that my son Robert Lee Jackson shall have one hundred dollars or one horse worth that amount this being the same I have given to all the rest of my children and therefore desire the same for him in addition to his share in my estate. 4th I will that all the balleus of my estate after the death of my wife Sarah Jackson and her expenses have been paid be equally divided among my lawful heirs exept as provided herein hid it is understood in this that my son Thomas Jackson has recived one tract of land from me valued at one thousand dollars the same being unsettled for which is to be charged to him and accounted for by him in the division of my estate and also my daughter Rena wife of Harvey Southord has received one tract of land (50 acres) which is deeded to them and valued at one thousand dollars which is to be accounted for by them in the division of my Estate. 5th I here by request that my son Robert Lee Jackson shall see after the welfare and comford of his Mother and see that see is well cared for as long as she lives. 6th It is also my will that if eny one or more of my heirs conserned in this will shall not be sattisfied there with and attempts to break sauue that he, she or they be excluded from receiving any part of my Estate and there said interest in that event shall be divided among the remainder of my heires. 7th I hereby appoint my son Robert Lee Jackson and J.W. Thompson as Executors of this my last will and testamend, end it is my desire and I so so request the court that no bond whatever be rquired of them in carrying out this my will for the reason that I have full confidence in there honesty and fairnniss. Jackson being of sound mind and disposing memory do here by make this as a codicil to my last will and testament made and dated October the 5th 1902 to which this paper is attacted. 1st It is my desire that at my death all my real and personal property be sold by my executors publicly or privately on such terms of credit as they may desire proper. 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Jackson one third of the proceds of this sale of my property for her natural life to be left out and controlled by my executors for the benefit of my wife and if the interest on sauue is not sufficient for her comfortable support my executors are required to expend so much of the principal of said sum as may be necessary for that purpose. 3rd I give and bequeath to my children the remainder of my estate including what may be left of my wifes part at her death to be divided among them in the same proportions as directed in my will in the division of my real estate each child that has been advanced to account for said advancement in the division of my property the amount of said advancement having been fixed by my will. If I should dispose of my real estate before my death I devise the same rule of division to prevail at my death. My said executors are to hold in trust the protion of my estate going to my son George Jackson and control it for his benefit and pay him from time to time such sums out of it as his necessities may require and in the event he reforms and becomes a sober man they are authorised to pay him the whole of his portion.
