DEED: Jackson & Bailey to Moses Jackson, Fleming Co Fleming Co., KY Deed Book V Page 15-16 Jackson & Bailey To } Deed Jackson, Moses Tax paid Deed to Grantee This Indenture made theis fourteenth day of August eighteen hundred and thirty Eight between James Jackson & Nicholas Baily of the one part and Moses Jackson of the other part all of the County of Fleming and state of Kentucky Witnesseth that the said James Jackson &N Bailey for and in consideration of the sum of One hundred & thirty Dollars to to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold and hereby releaseses and conveyes unto the said Moses Jackson his heirs and assigns all their undivided interests in that tract or parcel of Land situate and being in the County of Fleming on the waters of Fleming Containing 51 acres & 150 poles and bounded as follows to wit Begininning at a stone on the North side of Hintons Mill road thence North 45 East 110 poles to a stone thence south 44 East 210 poles to a stone thence South 3 degrees West 89 poles to a stone thence with the outline of the plat of Division to the Beginning The same being all the interest of the said James L Jackson & Nicholas Bailey in said Tract of Land which they hold as heirs of Rachel Jackson decd in the lands of her husband John Jackson decd as laid off by the Commissioners and a platt thereof recorded in Will Book E page 194 reference to which being had will more fully appear. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed and the appertenances thereunto belonging unto the said Moses Jackson his heirs and assigns forever and the said James Jackson & N. Baily for themselves their heirs &c hereby agree to warrant and defend the said interest in said tract of land and premises unto the said Moses Jackson his heirs and assigns against the Claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever. In Witness whereof the said James Jackson & Hannah his wife & Nicholas Baily & Rachel his wife have hereunto set their hands and Seals the date first herein written James Jackson Hannah Jackson his Nicholas x Baily mark Rachel Bailey Kentucky Fleming County Sct Octo 1st 1838 I Geo M Stockton Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid do certify that this deed from James Jackson and Hannah his wife and Nicholas Bailey and Rachel his wife to Moses Jackson was this day produced to me and acknowledged by the said James Jackson and Nicholas Baily to be their act and deed and the said Hannah & Rachel being by me examined privily and apart from their husbands declared that they did freely and willingly seal and deliver the said writing and wished not retract it and acknowledged the said writing again shown and explained to her to be their act and deed, and consented that the same might be recorded which is duly done.
