This Indenture made and entered into this 28th day of September 1849 Between
James C. Jackson and Ann his Wife of the county of Bath and State of
Kentucky of the one part and Michael Rees of the county of Bath and State
aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said James C Jackson and Ann
his wife for and in consideration of the Sum of two hundred & thirty two &
50/100 dollars current money of Kentucky to them in hand paid the receipt
hereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and Sold and by these
presents do grant bargain and confirm unto him the Said Michael Rees, his
heirs &c all that tract or parcil Situate lying and being in the county of
Bath on the Waters of Main Licking containing one acre one quarter and
eighteen-poles and bounded as follows towit  Begining at a Stake on the bank
of Licking nearly -?-ing the S.W. corner of ?ade Clavills house thence down
the river S25 W 8 poles to a Stake thence S 61.3 E 28.3 poles to a Stake on
the west Side of the Little Flat creek road thence with Said road N 7 E 85
poles to a Stake thence N 61.30 W 25:7 poles to the Beginning together With
all and Singular the premises there unto belonging in in any wise
appertaning to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with its
appurtences unto him the Said Mickel Rees his heirs and assigns forever and
the Said James C. Jackson and Ann his wife for themselves their executors
and administratirs the tittle to the aforesaid tract of land and premises
unto him the Said Michiel Rees his heirs or assigns against the claim or
claims of all and every person or persons claiming by from or under them do
and Will Warrant and forever defend -?- from nor against the claim or claims
of no other person or persons Whatever as this is intended a quit claim Deed
In testimony Whereof the said James C. Jacksin and Ann his wife have
hereunto Set their hands and afixed their Seals the day and date just above
