Lawrence Jackson, 68 3/20

    MIDDLESBORO - Lawrence Jackson, 68, passed away Monday, March 
18, 2002, at Tri-State Comprehensive Care Center. He was born Jan. 
10, 1934, in Clay County, Ky., a son of the late Arthur Jackson and 
Ida Jackson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Jackson; and two sisters, Mary Allen and Cindy. 
Survivors include two children, Ginger Rogers and Vickie Cowles, both of Florida; a brother, Carter Jackson, Middlesboro; and a host 
of nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 
1 p.m. Thursday at Mathel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and 
friends. Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today at Creech Funeral Home, 
which is in charge of arrangements.
