She was born in Bell County on March 13, 1931 a daughter of the late Brownlee and Clarcie Eldridge Green. She was a believer in the Baptist faith and had been a cook at the Bell County Jail. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Bill and Harold Green. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Jackson; children, Arnold (Rosetta) Jackson, Larry Jackson, Wallace (Jaqua) Jackson, Teresa (Willard) Miracle, all of Laurel Hill. Colleen (Joe) Couch and Lois Ann (Larry) Jones both of Flat Lick, Brownlee (Sandra) Jackson of Clear Creek; eleven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Carl (Helen) Green of Brownies Creek, Paul Green of Tennessee, Pauline Green and Anna Lois Green both of Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services for Mae Jackson wrre held on Monday, October 29 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Elder Kenneth Robbins officiating. Burial followed in the Jackson Cemetery on Laurel Hill with pallbearers being family and friends. Arnett & Steele Funeral Home of Pineville in charge of arrangements.
