James.Corona.1983.Pike.OBIT CORONA JAMES (KEDDY) Corona (Ked) James, 81, of Turkey Creek, died Tuesday, November 8 at the Williamson Memorial Hospital in Williamson, West Virginia. She was born in Pike Co. on August 31, 1902, a daughter of the late Estil and Mary Fields James. She is survived by two brothers, Victor and Frank James, both of McVeigh, and four sisters, Mrs. Sophie Elkins of Turkey Creek, Mrs. Hollie Morris of Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Dollie Justice and Mrs. Deset Slone, both of Pikeville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 11 in the Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Denny Dawes officiating. Burial followed in the O.T. Hinton Mausoleum in Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville. Arrangements were under direction of Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry. Contributed by Glenna 22 May 1997
