    MIDDLESBORO - Edith Janeway, 86, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 
2002, at Pineville Community Hospital. Funeral services were 
conducted at 8 p.m. Thursday at Shumate Funeral Home with the Rev. 
Charles F. Jones presiding. Graveside services were conducted at 
10 a.m. Friday at Green Hills Memorial Cemetery. Shumate Funeral 
Home was in charge of arrangements.
