Janet Hendrickson Jarvis, 56, of Four Mile passed away Sunday, 
January  24, 1988, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, 
Knoxville following  a short illness.  She was born May 3, 1931, 
In Four Mile to Lucy Woolum  Hendrickson and the late 
George Buck Hendrickson.  She was a lifelong resident of Bell County 
and worked for 32 years at the Pineville Community Hospital as a 
Medical Records Librarian.  She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church 
and WMU.  She was the wife of Roy Jarvis of Four Mile. She is survived 
by her husband, Roy Jarvis, her mother. Lucy Woolum 
Hendrickson; two daughters, Lucy Jane Jarvis, Lexington and Janet Ann 
Jarvis Brooks, Four Mile; one son in law, Garrett W. Brooks, Jr.; 
two sisters Roberta Baker, Lowell; and Rowena Henrickson, Four Mile; 
and one brother, G. B. Hendrickson, Jr. Flat Lick.  Services were at 
Riverside Baptist Church Wednesday, January 27, 1988 with 
Rev. Carl Gallion.  Interment was in the Hendrickson Cemetery.
