Pendelton This indenture made and entered into this 30th day of May 1871 between the heirs of Robert Jenkins, deceased, viz: John Jenkins, Gilbert Jenkins, Isaac Jenkins, William Jenkins, Henry Jenkins, Henry Penix, Rachel Penix, Elizabeth Montgomery of the one part and J.T. Pendelton and his heirs or assigns forever, a certain tract of land situated and being in the County of Morgan and the State of Kentucky on the waters of Paint Creek, beginning at a beech tree 20 poles below the mouth of the open fork of Paint Creek. Thence with lines of survey to the beginning part of the survey made in the name of Nathaniel Auxier of 50 Acres. To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed and the appurtenances therewith belong or in anywise appertaining, and we the aforesaid heris of Robert Jenkins do warrant and defend unto the said J. T. Pendelton against ourselves and our heirs or assigns against Nathaniel Auxier his heirs or assigns against Robert Jenkins his heirs assigns and all persons claiming by or through him or either of them.
