I address you as Personal believing you will answer me accordingly. Tell me the seasons of your crop by whether they are harder or more favourable than ours Tell me the average price of tobacco generally. The quantity common to the thousand. Tell me the difference between the cultivation of crops there & here. Please tell me the price of good unimproved land, the price of good land with which we call here tolerable improvements & what could good farm be had for with favourable improvements & convenient both to land & water tolerably so. How far to the Ohio. The name of the county seat & how far. Tell me the place most favourable for trade. What kind of game have you & if deer be common with you. Please write to me the most favourable chance of purchasing land. Would it be the best plan to come prepared to purchase and should I like, or would it be more favourable to move depending on renting untill a favourable opportunity occurs. Dear Sir if I can find incouragement sufficient to induce me to come & see your country as I have no help to assist me in labour. I consider it would suit me best to purchase a place ready open with what we call common improvements thereon. I will tell you what sort of place would suit me. A place lying well for cultivation akin to produce. Water convenient both to family & for stock firewood & timber handy also. Please tell me what such a tract of land as above mentioned would cost per acre, as near as you could guess. Dear sir if you will pay some attention to this subject, should such a piece of land be offered for sale, as that you could get a letter to me by the first of August, I would be thankful to you besides paying you for your trouble.
