Herald 2001 Mrs. Johnson Alene Mullins Johnson, 66, of Garrison, died Saturday, August 4, 2001, at home. Born December 25, 1934, at Omaha, Virginia, she was a daughter of Martha Ann Isaac Mullins of Robinson Creek and the late Henry Mullins. She was a homemaker and a member of South Shore Old Regular Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are one daughter, Brenda Johnson of Lexington; two step­daughters, Bernice Tackett of North Vernon, Indiana, and Phyllis Elswick of Marion, Ohio; one son, Alvin G. (Cindy) Little of Brazil, Indiana; six sisters, Stella Reek of Belvidere, Indiana, Maxine Little of Hellier, Jerlene Hall of Elkhorn City, Jetta Lee Bridgeman of JoNancy, Mary Mullins and Mabel Scott, both of Robinson Creek; four brothers, Dave Mullins, Virgil Mullins and Henry Mullins, all of Robinson Creek and Woodrow Mullins of Elkhorn City; three grandchildren and eight great­grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin Little, in, 1969; her second husband, John Morgan Johnson, in 1993; and one sister, Etta Johnson. Local services were conducted Monday, August 6, 2001, at 7:00 p.m., at the Old Regular Baptist Church in South Shore. On Tuesday, August 7, 2001, an additional service will be held at Noon at Caney Creek Old Regular Baptist Church at Robinson Creek. Burial will be at the Mullins Family Cemetery at Robinson Creek.
