Funeral services were conducted Tuesday for France Johnson, 81, life-long 
Rowan County citizen, who died September 8. The services were held at the home 
of his son, Eddie Johnson, at Elliotville, with burial in the family cemetery 
there.
He was born in Rowan County. His wife preceded him in death. Arrangements were 
handled by the Lane Funeral Home.
