Mrs. Julia Ann Johnson, wife of Michael Johnson, died at her home near Bunker Hill Friday afternoon, December 12, 1930, of infirmities of age. Deceased was eighty-eight years of age and is survived by her aged husband, and four children: Mrs. John Leggett, of Bourbon County, Mrs. William Haney, Leroy and Ernest Johnson, of this county. Mrs. Johnson was a kind, self-sacrificing wife and mother and ministered to her family's needs until a few days before her death. Her whole life was one of service to her family, her neighbors and friends, and she will be sadly missed in the community in which she lived. She was never happier than when working among them. Funeral services were conducted at her late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the Rev. F. M. Tinder, of North Middletown Christian church and burial was in the family burial ground at Bunker Hill. Contributed by: Beulah Franks
