This Indenture made and entered into this 19th day of February 1840 between Ann Anderson, Robert Anderson Wyatt Sarver Rachel Sarver Peyton Anderson and James Mary Anderson of the County of Allen & State of Kentucky of the one part and James Jones of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred dollars in hand paid by the said James Jones the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and Sold unto him the Said James Jones one certain tract or Parcel of land containing twenty Acres more or less on the Waters of Little Trammell & bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning on a white oak & a black oak a conditional corner and line made between Ann Anderson Robert Anderson and James Jones thence running with said conditional line up a branch to a Hickory and Pawpaw at the road running from Ann and Robert Anderson to William Waggell’s thence running with said Road leading to said Waggal’s House to the head of a lane to a standing Rock thence running with the right hand lane fence to the Bank of little Trammel Creek to a Beech thence running up Said Creek with its meanders to the Beginning to have and to hold said Tract or parcel of Land with its appurtenances &c unto him the said James Jones his heirs and assigns forever & the said Ann Anderson Robert Anderson Wyatt Sarver Rachal Sarver Peyton Anderson and James Mary Anderson doth & will forever warrant and defend the aforesaid tract or parcel of Land with its appurtenances unto the said James Jones his Heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons, Whatsoever In Witness Whereof we the said Ann Anderson, Robert Anderson, Wyatt Sarver, Rachal Sarver, Peyton Anderson and James Mary Anderson have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals this day and date above written Test Ann Anderson, her mark Amos Harris Robert Anderson Ambrose Jones Wyatt Sarver Rachael Sarver Peyton Anderson, his mark James Mary Anderson, his mark Kentucky Allen County, Sct I Samuel Sweringen Clerk of Court for the County aforesaid do certify that this Deed from Ann Anderson Robert Anderson Wyatt Sarver, Rachael Sarvery, Peyton Anderson & James Mary Anderson was this day produced to me in my Office and was proveen by the oath of Amos Hrris and Ambrose Jones the subscribing witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of the Said Grantos and the same is duly recorded in my Office Given under my hand this 21st Decr 1840 Samuel Sweringen CACC Submitted by: Gail Miller gailmiller@mindspring.com This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/kyfiles/
