Jones - Fronia Mary Jones of Springville died July 12, 1997, at Bloomington
Hospital. The daughter of Sam and Delia (Lewis) Colyer, she was born in
Tateville, KY, on October 10, 1909. She married Charles C. Jones on June 29,
1926, and he preceded her in death. 

She is survived by three sons: Ralph Jones of TN, Doyle Jones of
Springville, IN, and Charles Jones of Los Angeles, CA; four daughters:
Bonnie Ramsey of Springville, IN, June Chavis of Harrodsburg, IN, Janet
Tyree of Bloomfield, IN, and Diane Cooper of Mitchell, IN; two sisters: Eva
Sasser of Bedford and Edith Strunk of KY; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-two
great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; and several nieces
and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Maxine
Jones; two sons, Clifford and Darrell Jones; five brothers; three sisters;
and three grandchildren.

She was retired from Indiana University and was a member of Pentecostal
Mission of Springville, IN.

The funeral service for Fronia Mary Jones will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday,
July 15th at Day & Carter Mortuary with the Rev. Wendell Phillips
officiating. Burial will be in Hilltop Cemetery in Avoca. Friends may call
Monday, July 14th from 2-9 p.m. at Day & Carter Mortuary.
