MAGGIE KATHLEEN LAWS JONES
 
    Maggie Kathleen Laws Jones, 84, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 
the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.  She was born on July 30, 1919 
in Tinsley, Ky the daughter of the late Rev. James "Jim" and Elisa Jane Goodin 
Laws.  She was a believer in the Baptist Faith and was a long time member of 
the Greasy Creek Baptist Church.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, 
Charlie Jones, sister, Maranda (Bob) Sturgill and Margie (Bill) Sturgill; 
brothers, Rev. R.G. Ward Laws, Hubert Laws, Estill Laws, Frank Laws and Doc 
Laws; son-in-law, Paul W. Buell, Sr., grandsons, Paul W. Buell, Jr., and 
infant Jones and great-granddaughter, Alysia Sue Buell.
    Survivors include her children, Gerty Buell of Ingram, Charlene (Larry) 
Fitzgerald of Mesa, AZ; George Jones and Kelly Jones of Ingram and Thomas 
(Wanda) Jones of Murray, KY; three adopted sons, Michael (Connie) Jones of 
Ingram, George ( Sabrina) Jones of Ingram and Bobby Ray Jones; seventeen 
grandchildren, twenty-four geat-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; 
brother-in-law, Joe (Radie) Jones of Ingram; sisters-in-law, Gladys Laws and 
Edith Laws and a host of many nieces, nephews and friends.
    Services were Saturday at the Greasy Creek Baptist Church with Rev. W. B. 
Bingham, III and Rev. Bill Poore.  Music was by The Singing Pilgrims.  Burial 
will be in the Carroll Cemetery at Ingram.  Pallbearers were Wilburn Bingham, 
Mike Corey, Raymond Smith, Doug Ramsey, Johnny Brooks, Mike Funson and Kelly 
Joe Jones.  Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Dr. Uy and Staff, Family 
Home Health Nurses and Aides and the staff of Middlesboro ARH.
    Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was honored to serve the Jones 
Family.
