Glasgow (KY) Weekly Times, 2 June 1897
"Mrs. Sarah A. Jones, widow of Judge Veachel Jones and mother of Judge S. E. 
Jones, died at her home in South Glasgow Monday night last at 10:30 o'clock. 
Mrs. Jones was in the seventy second year of her age, and passed away after a 
long and model life, dedicated to her loved ones and to her friends. She was a 
devoted mother, a consecrated Christian, having been a devout member of the 
Baptist church for more than a generation. Surrounded by her sorrowing children 
and descendants, her spirit passed gentley to the glories of a Better Land.

"Funeral services were held at the last residence of the deceased yesterday 
afternoon at 4 o'clock and the remains will be interred in the Odd Fellows 
cemetery this morning at 9 o'clock."

Buried Glasgow Municipal Cemtery.
