Judge.Michael.1893.Nicholas.OBIT Mr. Michael Judge was born in Boston, Mass., October 5, 1809, and died at his residence near Moorefield, Ky., May 12, 1893, in his 84th year of life. He was a citizen most highly respected by his neighbors, and his death is a great loss to his many friends and relatives. His first wife was Miss Elizabeth, of Montgomery Co., and to this union was born 7 children whom are all living. His last wife was Mrs. Julia A. Judge, near Carlisle, who still survives him. The last three or four years of his life were spent in intense suffering. He was paralyzed about three years ago, which rendered him completely helpless. He was a most patient sufferer and very seldom complained of his helplessness. And a man well read in the scriptures and delighted to talk of the hope he cherished of the house beyond. He was an ardent member of the Christian Church. How often do we look at his old arm chair and are vividly reminded of him, who so recently gave up his life of pain for one where is all joy and peace. When we think of this, out ?, but let his loved ones take comfort in the though that they have an opportunity of meeting him on the other shore. Carlisle Mercury, June 29, 1893.
