     Clarence KASEY was drunk when he fell into the soft mud and water face down, and unable to get up 
on his own, died from strangulation and suffocation there in the mud.  This was the verdict of the 
Coroner's jury.
     He came to his death about 2 miles south of Cloverport in Breckinridge County early in the night of 
February 8, 1900.  He did not have a very good reputation, and was of bad character.  He was about 19 
years old.

I did not find a tombstone for Clarence KASEY in the Breckinridge County Cemeteries, volume one, 
published in 1991.
