Glasgow (KY) Weekly TImes, 17 June 1896.
"Miss Eunice Keen, of Burkesville, sister of the sheriff of Cumberland county, 
comitted suicide last Friday by throwing herself into Cumberland river. The 
unfortunate young lady rose from _____ daylight, slipped out of the house 
without the knowlege of member of the family, and went directly to the river. 
Her body was recovered within an hour or two afterwards. No reason is known for 
the commission of suicide."
