Baskin & Co., Chicago, 1882 DR. A. H. KELLER, P. O. Ruddel's Mills; was born at Beaver Dam Springs, Tenn., Aug. 23, 1858; son of Dr. Thomas Fairfax Keller, who was a native of Alabama, and studied law, and after practicing three years, studied medicine, graduating from Bellevue College, New York, in 1847. He practiced the rest of his life in the states of Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas, moving to North Middletown, Bourbon county, Ky., in 1868, and dying there the following year. He married Miss Susan Warren, who was born in Dublin, Ireland, but who came to this country when nine years of age; she died in 1866, having given birth to seven children, three only of whom are now living: Arthur H., Alexander M., and Leila F. The eldest son, Arthur H. our subject, received a classical education, graduating from Centre College, Danville, Ky., in June, 1879; then entered the Louisville Medical College, from which he graduated Feb. 25, 1881, and commenced practice at Shawhan, but a few months later bought the office of Dr. D. D. Eads, at Ruddel's Mills, where he has already secured a fine practice. He was married April 20, 1881, to Ida G. Bowen, born Jan. 2, 1862, daughter of Geo. W. Bowen of this County. The Doctor is a member of the Episcopal Church, and his wife of the Christian Church. He is an Odd Fellow and a Democrat.
