This Indenture made this tenth day of November and in the year of our Lord One 
thousand Seven hundred and ninety four Between John WARFORD and Mary his Wife 
of Shelby County and State of Kentucky of the One part and John KELLY of 
Washington County and State of Pensylvania COunty of the other part.  
Witnesseth that the said WARFORD and Mary his Wife for and in Consideration of 
an assignment on a Bill of Lad on Angush CAMRON of Nelson County for five 
hundred Acres of Land for which the said WARFORD and Mary his Wife doth 
acknowledged ____ they have bargained and Sold aliened ---- and Confirm and by 
these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien and Confirm unto the Said 
KELLY his Heirs and assigns the full quantity of two hundred Acres of Land the 
same being one half of a patent granted to the Said WARFORD on Clear Creek in 
Jefferson County and State of Kentucky and including a Cabbin built by the said 
KELLY and the Said four hundred Acres of Land is to be equally divided according 
to quantity and quality  To have and to hold the Said two hundred Acres of Land 
and all and singular the premises above mentioned and every part and parcel 
thereof with all the appurtenances unto the Said KELLY his Heirs and Assigns to 
the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said John KELLY his Heirs and 
Assigns forever and he the Said John WARFORD and Mary his Wife doth engage for 
them and their Heirs Executors administrators the Said two hundred Acres of 
Land and premises and every part thereof against themselves and their Heirs and 
against all persons claiming by from or under them  In Witness whereof the Said 
John WARFORD and Mary his Wife hath hereunto set their hands and affixed their 
Seals the day and year above mentioned

      This is to Certify that John WARFORD this day Acknowledged the within 
Deed and Mary his Wife being Examined as the Law directs relinquished her right 
of Dower before us two of the Justices of the peace for said County  Given 
under our hands this 11th day of November 1794
